After several recent placed efforts, Bahrqueen deserves to get her head in front but David Elsworth's filly may have to settle for minor honours again with Desert Royalty getting the verdict over Dance In The Sun. The selection is a progressive filly trained by Ed Dunlop and, having opened her account in a Windsor handicap last month, reproduced her best form when a close second to Karaoke at Nottingham recently. A 2lb rise for that seems fair and the daughter of Alhaarth is taken to go one better here. Bahrqueen has lost no caste in defeat in handicaps at Sandown and Salisbury of late and should again be thereabouts but may find one or two of these too quick for her and a bigger danger may come from the unexposed Dance In The Sun, who ran well enough when upped in class at Goodwood last time. Shelini has claims if stripping fitter for her recent reappearance, while Tawny Way is open to more improvement than most but we are happy to side with Desert Royalty.
