Philip Hide wouldn't have had many runners on the Flat but has acquired a nice type in STIR TRADER from Roger Charlton and the lightly-raced four-year-old can gain his third success on Polytrack. He has already scored over 6f and 7f and showed with a fine run behind Lowther over this course and distance last month that he has no problems with the longer trip. Guest Of Honour is an obvious threat as he was having just his fourth start when completing a double here in December and, having been freshened up with a break, he looks certain to be in the firing-line. Kindia is another lightly-raced type and, having scored in the French Provinces, she looks ready to double her winning tally soon. Prince Of Burma hasn't won for over a year but has gradually slipped to a fair mark and it would be no surprise to see a big effort from the three-times Polytrack winner. Pearl Nation hasn't run since August but has the potential to do better this year.
