In depth

Verdict

TIDY AFFAIR was having his first start over today's trip when landing a real touch in an amateurs' event at Wolverhampton a week ago. He scored with his head in his chest that day so it's hardly surprising his trainer runs him with a 6lb penalty and he should have few problems following up. Sam Twiston Davies has a rare Flat ride on board Capellini but his mount has shown only occasional glimpses of ability since arriving from France. Celtic Charlie finds this trip the bare minimum nowadays but the veteran Crimson Monarch hasn't been beaten far in recent races though he doesn't win very often.
