We are hoping He's A Humbug can bounce back to his best this afternoon and he gets the vote ahead of Wolf River and Diminuto. Richard Fahey's three-year-old won off a mark of 87 at the start of this campaign before putting in four lack lustre efforts. However his last outing caught the eye as he was hampered at a crucial stage but still only went down by just under three lengths. If things drop right today he could go close. Wolf River comes here in good heart following a maiden and handicap win. He may still be one step ahead of the assessor and looks a big danger. Diminuto has been in fine form this season and can be forgiven the modest effort last time out as it was in a hot race. Goddbye Cash is another to consider for the places, but we think He's A Humbug is now back in form and he gets the verdict.
