UNCLE FRED is put forward to land this handicap at the main expense of Cool Hand Jake and Hawaana. The selection is a lightly-raced colt who won well when last seen out at Newbury when he got the better of Bold Cross. He has run well here in the past and from a good draw he should be good enough to make it back-to-back wins. Cool Hand Jake is also in good form and he has won over this course and distance. But he was all-out to score last time and his wide draw will make it tough for him to go in again. Hawaana is another that has not been done any favours by the draw, and although he disappointed last time he returns to the scene of his last win here. Ocean Legend has a good draw and he might be capable of claiming some place money, but in a race where plenty have chances we will side with Uncle Fred as the choice.
