Pastel Blue is sure to be popular with punters after a promising run on his debut but we will take him on with RIO MIST who is preferred to Angel Of Fashion. The selection hails from a yard in terrific form and she shaped with promise on her debut at Lingfield when she finished in mid-division in a race won by Gwynedd. She looked like she would learn plenty for the experience that day and with this step-up in trip expected to suit she can run a big race. Pastel Blue is a filly from the Michael Bell yard who finished fourth on her debut at Lingfield. Hasty finished second in that race so if she goes well in the previous race then it will give the form a boost. However, she is likely to be a warm order in the betting and she has the worst of the draw so it could pay to look for a bit of value elsewhere. Angel Of fashion is another that is not ideally drawn and she has already had four chances to get her head in front without being able to take one. She is making her debut on the polytrack and she has a few questions to answer at present. Walter Swinburn does well with his runners here so his newcomer Mellifera could be worth a market check on her debut, but in a race where the market may provide the clues we will side with Rio Mist as the pick.
