slowly into stride, reluctant early, raced in last, headway on outside over 3f out, chased winner briefly over 2f out, beaten over 1f out
held up in 4th, raced keenly, snatched up just over 3f out, kept on under pressure to go 2nd just over 1f out, no impression on winner
held up in 3rd, took keen hold, snatched up just over 3f out, weakened over 1f out
made all, slowed pace over 3f out, kicked on over 1f out, eased near finish
awkward start, mostly chased winner until just over 1f out, stayed on same pace
Tous Les Deux's record fresh isn't astounding and over this short trip he is passed over in favour of SUTTON VENY with Lujeanie considered her main danger. The selection chases a hat-trick of course and distance wins here and looks to have been found a good opportunity. She is 6lb higher than her last win but seems to have blossomed this winter and she can maintain her unbeaten record for Adam Kirby. Methaaly is also a course and distance winner but he looks a harder ride and is passed over for win purposes, whilst Lujeanie also runs this track well and should give his running despite a career-high mark of 81 making life tough. Timeteam has not been flying of late but he hasn't been with his new yard for long and cannot be overlooked despite having plenty to find with Methaaly on their run behind Billy Red last time out. This looks another good opportunity for Sutton Veny to win again.
