Many of these enter the fray in terrific form, especially recent winners Indian Violet, Esteem Lord and SADDLERS BEND and it's the latter who gets the vote. George Baker's filly, twice a winner at Wolverhampton earlier this year, returned from a long absence to score over 7f there a month ago and a 4lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent a follow-up. One Oi wasn't far behind Indian Violet at Lingfield recently and, as that was only his second run in over a year and he has a 4lb pull, he can reverse placings with the winner. Pipers Piping has raced only twice beyond 7f in a 37-run career but has been staying on at the finish in most of his races so this trip could prove ideal. Kipchak has won 10 times, seven of them on Polytrack, and is just 1lb higher than for his latest success at Lingfield in July.
