CORSICAN BOY was unsuited by the slow early pace when a close third to Herminella over the C&D last month. That was a much improved effort from his debut at Newmarket however, and with further progress likely he can lose his maiden tag. Nothing To Hide has finished runner-up on four occasions including when attempting to make all over a mile here a couple of weeks ago. He looks certain to make this a stiff test which should suit the selection. Les Verguettes looked to have plenty of potential when runner-up over 6f here in September but ran poorly on her only subsequent start over the same C&D the following month. Holcombe Boy and Woop Woop has shown ability but would need to improve and a bigger threat may emerge in the shape of Ana Emarati, who made a fair debut at Wolverhampton and looked the type to have benefited greatly from the experience.
