PIKE CORNER CROSS had dropped to a very lowly mark when scrambling home at Wolverhampton last week and a 4lb penalty shouldn't be enough to see him gain his fourth course victory. Solveig's Song has also won here three times and is back on the mark that saw his successful in the race a year ago so has to be on the short list.
