Another chance is given to ZERO MONEY in the hope that this surface and flat track will see him in a better light than at Folkestone last time; the main danger may be Autumn Blades although Black Dahlia still looks handicapped to strike again. Roger Charlton's son of Bachelor Duke didn't seem to handle the undulations or the ground on his latest start, where he was turned over at odds of 6/4. His previous third to Santefisio at Newbury reads well in the context of this race and he can make amends this evening. The consistent Autumn Blades has a good draw to work from and he very rarely runs a bad race, Resplendent Nova looks fairly handicapped, whilst Black Dahlia has run well off this sort of mark of late and is not out of things. Berbice only has one win to his name from 26 starts which must be a worry for backers, although he will feature in many a placepot, whilst the hat-trick seeking Silver Guest looks a big player if reproducing his recent Wolverhampton form at this different track. The powerful quartet of Finnegan McCool, Bold Marc, Defector and Yankee Storm all come here in good nick and it would be no surprise to see any feature in the finish, however in another competitive handicap it is Zero Money who just edges the vote.
