    Verdict

A dual winner in novice company, Extra Elusive may well improve for the step up in trip but he’ll need to settle better than he did when runner-up over 1m2f at Ascot on his handicap debut. Rapier is another with something to prove over today’s distance while though We Know returned an easy winner when making all at Windsor he is upped in class off a 9lb higher mark. Occupy and Pippin look high enough in the weights but BARTHOLOMEU DIAS (NAP) was beaten only a neck in this grade at Goodwood on his penultimate start. He can race off the same mark today and won at Wolverhampton on his only previous outing on the all-weather.
