In a wide open contest Figaro Flyer is the tentative selection with Toms Laughter, Lindbergh and Choreography others to consider. Figaro Flyer is an exposed sort and has not received any mercy from the handicapper of late but this is the biggest field he has encountered recently so the race is likely to be run to suit. He finished second to an improving sort last time around Wolverhampton and nothing of that type exists here. Tom Laughter bids for the hat-trick here with cheekpieces re-applied after they brought about the desired effect last time. He races prominently so the worry would be that he could be vulnerable to those challenging late. Lindbergh is a regular around here and this appears his optimum trip. He was not disgraced in a claimer last time when he has it all to do on ratings and is another likely to toe them along early while Choreography would have to be respected on all known form but judging by his career record, benefits from a outing following a break. A wide open contest to get proceedings under way and Figaro Flyer is selected to come home in front.
