Consistency has never been the strong point of Green Lagonda, who was a c&d winner here last time, but James Given looks to have finally found him an opportunity to record back-to-back wins, with One Way Ticket perhaps the chief danger. Green Lagonda recorded his first British win having dropped to what is clearly a reasonable mark last time, when he was value for more than the official one length margin. He has gone up just 3lb and a repeat effort can see him score again. One Way Ticket won off a mark of 80 on turf in 2006 and is 32lb lower here, but his all weather form has always been well below his turf capabilities, so don't get carried away. However, he does usually run his race and if the selection flops then he is most likely to take advantage. Calypso King is back below his last winning mark, so he could figure, but he seems to need further these days, while likes it here and this trip is ideal, so from a fair mark he can also get involved. Green Lagonda wasn't stopping last time though and he can follow up.
