Ouzbeck won well last time out and whilst it may not be plain sailing to win again under a penalty, he is taken to do so; Our Choice, Prince Taime and Peau Aime are just three dangers in this large field. The selection started a short price when successful at Uttoxeter last time out but won in the manner of a decent horse. A penalty makes life tougher but with more improvement to come, he can follow up. Our Choice was a moderate stayer on the flat and has made up into a decent enough hurdler despite having started at big prices on two runs to date, and should put up a decent display despite the form looking slightly suspect. Prince Taime won his bumper well earlier this year and is sure to have been well-schooled on his hurdling debut, whilst Prime Number should be fit from the flat and could go well at a bigger price. Pop looked to have some ability in two bumper starts and is of some interest, whilst Peau Aime and Luxarix are two interesting flat recruits who need close scrutiny, especially in the betting. An open contest to begin with, and Ouzbeck can score.
