Verdict

The progressive LEAPAWAY made it five in a row when landing the odds at Newton Abbot last month with the minimum of fuss. Philip Hobbs’ charge is facing tougher opposition today but still comes out best at the weights and can continue winning ways. Paul Nicholls has sent out the last two winners and Grand Sancy scored at Chepstow on his first outing since undergoing wind surgery while bumper winner Itchy Feet made a winning start over hurdles when scoring at Southwell. Higgs landed a double at Newton Abbot earlier in the year but is at a disadvantage having not raced since May.
