In depth

Verdict

Any number of these have decent claims. Quadriga bids for a hat-trick after landing a double at Southwell and Elusive Ellen steps up in trip having won twice over 7f this year. Celestial Knight can figure only 3lb higher than his course and distance win in October while Double Czech went very close at Wolverhampton on his return to action and can race off the same mark today. But EMBANKMENT has been thereabouts off similar marks in better company than this of late and Mike Attwater's charge gets a tentative vote to bring a long losing run to an end.
