        Verdict

        GAVARNIE ENCORE usually runs his race and went close over track and trip in December. He had earlier beaten Emperors Warrior over 7f here and the latter now has something to prove having been tailed off in a couple of races subsequently. Hold Firm has been placed in both starts since scoring at Wolverhampton in February and should be in the mix along with My Mo, placed yet again on his latest outing when finishing ahead of Celestine Abbey. Courier has a shout in this lower grade while Titan Goddess and Angel Delight are handicap debutants to note.
