      Verdict

BOLD drops back in distance for his return to action having returned a disappointing favourite in soft ground at Nottingham in October. He may well be up to landing this given Pomme De Guerre could only manage a modest fifth on his recent reappearance at Lingfield and New Style was well beaten on her debut over a mile here. Skye Morning should finish closer but the newcomer Prefect is out of a prolific mare and could prove a bigger threat.
