Alagrande is fancied to build on her promising debut run and see off the challenges presented by Vincennes and Antrim Rose, while Namibian Pink is worth monitoring for signs of support on her racecourse bow. The last named is a half-sister to several winners and is one to bear in mind as she gains experience. Her yard have been quiet of late, so is safe to assume she is expected to be a lot better for the run today. Antrim Rose is a rare runner for John Gosden at this time of year and is respected accordingly. She will be interesting for a modest handicap after this and, again, is one to view with an eye to the future. Vincennes was not given a hard time when she was introduced at Wolverhampton 19 days ago and should have benefited from that experience. As a half-sister to the mighty sire Cape Cross, her connections will be keen to get a win under her belt. However, she may have to concede best to Alagrande, who makes a touch more appeal on this occasion. The Green Desert filly showed a willing attitude when she came under pressure during her first start and, armed with that knowledge, she is fancied to have the edge here.
