Sherzabad hit form with a vengeance last time and is taken to defy a nine pound rise in the weights here, although the consistent Classic Millennium, Gaelic Roulette and Fantasy Crusader all merit respect in what looks a tricky finale. Classic Millennium scored back to back victories at Pontefract and over this course before doing little wrong when second again here last time, and this tough gelding should again go close. Gaelic Roulette battled on gamely to record her first career victory at Thirsk last time, and she could be on the upgrade. Fantasy Crusader, who won narrowly at Lingfield last time, is another who takes a significant step up in trip, but our fancy here is Hugh Collingridge's Sherzabad. This six-year-old beat Azur by five lengths at Lingfield a fortnight ago, seems to come into his own at this time of year and is taken to frank the form on these revised terms.
