The nominal nomination goes to the old-timer in the field, Tuning Fork, although Alucica would be of interest if the market vibes were positive whilst Patavium Prince also makes the short-list. The selection finished second on his first visit to the track at the start of the month and he won't need to improve a great deal on that performance to land this heat. Kirsty Milczarek gets on well with the old boy and he should be there or thereabouts. Alucica never threatened when held up in rear last week but she ran on well in the closing stages and could feature here if coming on a little for the outing. Patavium Prince has made the frame the last twice and may not be long in gaining his first win on the all-weather if continuing in the same vein. He should make his presence felt but Tuning Fork may be able to hit the right note tonight.
