        Verdict

        Don Cantillon has done a brilliant job in placing WESTERN WAY to win six races, including a bumper and three victories over hurdles. The nine-year-old has been a revelation since tackling this trip on his return to the Flat and a hat-trick beckons despite a 7lb rise for his latest success here. Age Of Wisdom was dropped into plating class at Lingfield and was never out of a canter in the latter stages while Fool To Cry has been going reasonably well over hurdles. Ardamir has won twice over timber but is 0-18 on the Flat, though wasn't beaten far when third over this course and distance last month.
