    Verdict

CARTER finally took advantage of his slide down the weights and won with plenty to spare over today's trip at Wolverhampton last week. He might just be capable of following up with a penalty in this lower grade. Suhailah won his first race in 21 starts when successful at Lingfield last month, but is not certain to confirm form with Colonel Henry, who faded badly in the closing stages on his return from a long lay-off. Etoile Filante is open to improvement back over this trip after failing to stay 2m here last time.
