Verdict

This is a difficult race for punters to call and many of these would have chances on the pick of their form, but Justalord is a pretty consistent sort and is given the narrow vote ahead of Jayanjay and Domirati. The selection is a course and distance winner and although he was a little below-par last time when he did not get the race run to suit, he looks to have solid claims here and he confirmed his well-being when defeating Sharp Hat at Catterick previously. Jayanjay has been knocking on the door on each his last two runs; narrowly beaten into second on both occasions. However, the suspicion is that these days his best form is over 6 furlongs and for that reason he is passed over. Domirati is dropped in grade after being well beaten in a competitive handicap at Newbury won by Salviati. Prior to that run he had put up a series of good solid efforts and he looks to have really good claims of making the frame. Devise and Further Outlook have both won over course and distance and look to have fair place prospects, but we will stick with Justalord who looks the one they all have to beat.
