    Verdict

VICKI VALE faced a difficult task in a Grade 2 contest at Sandown last time but Dan Skelton’s maiden hurdle winner can defy a penalty back at this level. Western Safire made a winning debut over timber when scoring at Uttoxeter on her reappearance while Zestful landed a juvenile hurdle at Catterick and the third has won subsequently. Eliza Dolittle may improve now hurdling after a couple of moderate efforts in bumpers.
