Verdict

COMPLETE UNKNOWN was no match for the winner when second in a Grade 2 at Warwick. But Paul Nicholls’ charge had made a winning debut over fences in a handicap at Ffos Las before that and gets another chance back at this level. Galahad Quest is more exposed though returned to winning ways in first-time cheekpieces last time while Fidelio Vallis returned from a lengthy absence with a good effort at Musselburgh and is back on a winning mark. Mister Fisher has had a recent breathing operation and looks more favourably weighted than Brave Seasca.
