Verdict

Aggagio followed a victory at this fixture last year with another at Hereford and two handicaps at Goodwood. This is his grade and trip and he looks certain to go well but stablemate KOTMASK, another who has won here, may have his measure with a 10lb claimer aiding his cause as he ran well in a better-class race here last week. Mullinaree has yet to win but keeps going up in the weights while Thor De Cerisy, a winner on heavy ground at Ffos Las in January, was well beaten over fences on a return visit. Gerolamo Cardano won a heavy-ground handicap at Leicester by 25 lengths then ran a shocker when well supported there next time.
