Echo Watt has won around here but that was three years ago and it's two years since he last won. Ballybeen has yet to win and though getting closer could have done without a 7lb rise for finishing second at Hereford. Walk In The Wild completed a Lingfield double in November and it may be best to draw a line through his run at Plumpton the following month as he made a bad mistake in a race where several fences were omitted. The front-running LIGHTONTHEWING has struck top form since turning to fences and won easily over the track and trip last month for which a 7lb rise doesn't look excessive.
