It could pay to take a chance on CAPE HAWK in this handicap; Arabian Spirit and Final Verse are also considered. The selection has got course and distance winning form and he does have a good draw. Richard Hannon's 6-year-old has been running in some competitive races but he will be suited by the return to this trip and he should go well. Arabian Spirit is in great form and he is feared the most, but his draw is far from ideal and at the forecast odds he could be one to swerve. Final Verse has also got a shocking draw and although he won last time at Wolverhampton, his overall strike-rate does not fill us with confidence that he will be able to follow-up. Samarinda has won here in the past but he was disappointing when last seen at this venue when he finished well down the field. Cape Hawk.was second in that race and he can go one better this evening.
