Verdict
A return to this surface will suit course and distance winner FANCY FOOTSTEPS and Clive Cox's filly is taken to see off Carlitos Spirit and the front-runner Prince Of Thebes. The last-named is not ideally drawn in stall four but he has plenty of solid all-weather form to his name and recent efforts on the turf have hinted that this is where he is best. However we prefer Fancy Footsteps who is teamed up with the in-form David Probert for the first time. This filly ran well in defeat here back in July and although she may not have much in hand with the assessor, she may prove good enough to eek out another win. Marmooq needs watching in the betting as he returns from a mini-break and his young jockey is doing well in the current Apprentice Jockey series. Mohathab tries the first-time blinkers after two poor runs, albeit in tough company, whilst La Diosa races off a feather weight and could surprise a few on her first run here. The consistent pair of Carlitos Spirit and Magic Rush must be considered, however it is Fancy Footsteps who has all the moves covered.
