Verdict
A penalty for winning at Wolverhampton last week looks like putting the brakes on Sylvia Pankhurst's chances of following up but any strong support for handicap debutante Jubilant Queen could prove significant. Polish Crown won her maiden at Wolverhampton but disappointed when favourite at this track last time and Katy Spirit is more interesting having dead-heated for first over track and trip in February and only 3lb higher today. Marvelino went close over 5f here earlier this year and should run his race again but the vote goes to CARINA PALACE. She's been unlucky to come up against the progressive Admiralofthesea on her last couple of outings but, with the latter out of the way today, Jamie Osborne's filly may finally get her head in front.
