Verdict
This is always a competitive affair and a few of these will no doubt go into the notebook for the months ahead. Barry Hills won it twice in the last four years before retiring and son Charles saddles Estifzaaz, though he was a huge disappointment when long odds-on on his final start as a two-year-old. Caramack also had his chances last season while You're The Boss couldn't justify favouritism in a Polytrack maiden in December. MUSIC MASTER caught the eye despite meeting trouble in-running on his debut at Salisbury in August. He's the type to make a decent three-year-old and his experience can give him the edge today over a host of potentially decent newcomers of which Assembly, a half-brother to a useful all-weather winner, and Godolphin's Balad may come out best.
