In depth

Verdict

Only 3lb separates the field in a tough race to call. EMPEROR JULIUS gets the tentative vote with a recent maiden win over track and trip under his belt but there's plenty with claims among those returning to action. Not least Leitrim Pass, a winner at Musselburgh in October and Shy Bride, who got off the mark at Lingfield late last year. Harry Bosch, Summer Dream and Swift Cedar have yet to score but look capable of doing so this year while Salisbury winner Trapeze is yet another to consider on her seasonal debut.
