Newcomer Vitoria is the suggestion here ahead of form picks Spanish Cygnet and Rose Cheval. The selection is a 120,000 gns Exceed And Excel filly related to numerous winners and she hails from a yard that is more than capable of readying a newcomer. The market usually points the way with juveniles from this yard but if her entry in the Group 2 Lowther is anything to go by then she could prove to be useful. Never Lose has an entry in the same race and one or two of these have entries in some of the sales races but it may pay to concentrate on those with experience for alternatives to the selection. Spanish Cygnet should be to the fore of calculations as the American bred filly made a pleasing debut at Goodwood behind a filly that went on to finish third in a Listed race. The experience and the seventh furlong should stand her in good stead. Sparkling Crystal finished a couple of places behind Deal Clincher last time and should also benefit from the longer trip whilst Rose Cheval has run two sound races so far and can get involved from her low draw. The market should tell us more but Vitoria is certainly worthy of close attention on debut and is the pick.
