        Verdict

        August Place could only manage sixth at Yarmouth on his debut though that’s still the strongest form of those with racecourse experience given Promoting failed to show any progress here last time. But a newcomer may prove good enough and WEST WIND BLOWS, a half-brother to four winners, gets a speculative vote to make a winning start. Poppy Bouchet and Waltzing Intime may prove best of the rest.
