Salsa Steps and Eulogize have the best form on the books, however there are some interesting opposition in newcomers Confident and the John Gosden-trained pair Flower of Kent and Wild Gardenia. However the tentative vote goes to Salsa Steps who has performed admirably on her two starts to date and is bred to appreciate this step up in trip. A big filly, she has been finishing well in her two starts and should be the one that the others have to beat. Ed Dunlop's Eulogize finished well on her debut despite running green and should come on for that run, although she may need a longer trip to show her best. The market should be watched in terms of the newcomers, and whilst the Gosden pair are nicely bred, it may be that both will benefit from the run. Perhaps of more immediate interest may be the Michael Jarvis-trained Confident, who's stable always presents a very live threat first-time out with their two-year olds. However, Salsa Steps sets the standard in this maiden and should be very difficult to beat if continuing to improve as expected.
