Ponte Vecchio is tentative selection over Busy Man and Megala in a very ordinary contest. Megala is relatively unexposed at this trip and can figure strongly at this level. Neil Chalmers knows him well and it would hardly be a bolt from the blue for him to at least make the frame. Busy Man has been lightly raced in couple of seasons but, as he has gone well here in the past, he has to merit consideration. Now based in Nottingham, Richard Guest does not run too many at Kempton but he may be persuaded to do so more if this venture proves successful. However, Ponte Veccio has a more solid overall profile and, as he is one of the least exposed runners in the line up, he may have the most offer.
