Earl Kraul is tipped to gain compensation at the expense of Time To Regret and Piquet. The selection was thrown out after winning the finale at the track last Saturday night and many thought that the decision to demote him was particularly harsh. From a form perspective, it was not a great race but this is hardly much better. Time To Regret is getting on a little but is in the winning habit. Danny Tudhope was aboard last time out and the rider is back to Kempton to try and repeat the dose. Fraternity and Piquet reoppose. The latter needs to come from way off the pace and has made a habit of looking "unlucky in running" as they come inside the final furlong. Deneuve is unexposed in this country so the market is watched for any positives. Retirement has tumboled down the weights and having rated in the mid-60's, connections have a horse that is at least on the right side of the handicapper. A poor affair in which Earl Kraul is afforded the vote.
