ARGYLE will be tough to beat if everything falls into place but has yet to complete in either of his two chasing starts. If he can translate his best hurdling form to fences, he'll prove good enough but is an admittedly risky proposition in a race with question marks posted against all five contenders. Rendezvous Peak has been disappointing on both starts since returned to Rules and Come On Charlie has yet to replicate some fair hurdling form since having attentions turned to fences. Canny Tom is exposed but is at least likely to run his race and Here I Am is another who has claims if on a going day but is hard to predict.

Come On Charlie (FR) 11-2 (12-0) Tracked leader, led after 4th, headed 6th, led after next until 8th, lost place before 10th, well behind when pulled up before 4 out, at Exeter 2m 3f hcp (5) gs in Apr.
Here I Am (IRE) 10-1 (11-9) Led, clear to 5th, driven and headed after 4 out, ridden after next, kept on same pace under pressure in 3rd from 2 out, 3rd of 5, 5 1/4l behind Finnegan's Garden (11-9) at Fontwell 2m 2f hcp (5) gd in Apr.
