    Verdict

Monty's Award must give weight away to all rivals and this useful hurdler has yet to tackle larger obstacles and may find this a tough assignation against a couple of more experienced sorts over fences. Kilcara gained a first chase success a week ago at Warwick under his promising conditional pilot and is respected on that evidence but TEMPLEPARK, arguably unfortunate not to score over timber, has always looked more of a chaser. He didn't run at all badly on chasing debut at Huntingdon, despite being last of three and this extra half mile will surely prove beneficial. Decent hurdlers Shoal Bay and Ballyart make chasing debuts on the back of useful hurdling form.
