Verdict

Several carry penalties including dual winner Earth Company, who was well beaten in a handicap here last time. Market Rasen winner Rocky Lake failed to cope under a penalty at Southwell last time while NAME IN LIGHTS came good at Wincanton in a first-time tongue-tie. There should be more to come in the headgear and Colin Tizzard’s charge gets the vote. Issar D'Airy will be sharper for a recent comeback run and is preferred to Percy's Prince, who won on the Flat here last autumn.
