In depth

Verdict

This is a stiff test for a two-year-old at this time of the year so the experience gained by ROUSING ENCORE at Leicester is likely to be invaluable. He stayed on after missing the break and looks certain to be in contention. Brave Emperor, by first-season sire Sioux Nation, has the inside berth so a quick start would be an advantage while Zakram is related to seven winners including two-year-olds. Ollie Pears gets winners here and Let's Go Hugo is a half-brother to four winners while Kevin Ryan's fillies Snow Girl and Stella Blue are both very speedily-bred.
