Verdict

Romeo Brown made all in this grade at Kelso last month and never looked like being caught. He has a 7lb rise to overcome here but is clearly back in the groove. SIZABLE SAM didn’t really take to fences in the autumn but he’s got an excellent strike-rate over the smaller obstacles and was trying to give 7lb to a back-to-form Fifty Ball at Ascot last month having won well earlier at Wincanton. Mongol Emperor should be thereabouts again but might have preferred more give in the ground. Bold Plan will need to up his game again to complete the hat-trick.
