Verdict
Ey Up It's Maggie started favourite for a better handicap than this at Pontefract on Monday and, though beaten into third, ran well enough to be considered for this. Saluti won four of his last six last summer and has also won over the track and trip. He's well drawn and should be winning again soon while Ginger Jam has a superb record around here winning five out of six, though was well beaten in the race a year ago. Sound Reason has the inside berth but his victory here last May came in Class 5 company. He was beaten a length by SHOW YOURSELF when the latter gained her fourth course and distance success in September and James Tate's consistent filly will have come on nicely for her run at Kempton.
