Quan opened his account over 7f on the Fibresand at Southwell last month and has something to prove on this quicker surface. Preference goes to CLAPPED, who separated a couple of much higher rated horses when beaten a head in a maiden over C&D a week ago and should land this with a similar effort. Littlecote Lady and Temple Road posted better efforts last time and Valdaw has been placed over longer trips at this track. Outside Art makes her handicap debut and has scope for improvement.
