A maximum field for this stayers' handicap hurdle where the vote goes to OVER THE FLOW, while Bobble Hat Bob, BA Dreamflight and French Leave are others with claims. The Bob Buckler-trained pick has been coming along nicely and was only just held by a Nicky Henderson-trained 1-4 shot at Wincanton last time. The form of that race looks good in the context of this, she stays well and acts with cut, and we hope that today is her day. Henderson will have a decent idea as to the claims of his Wembley Way as a result of that race, but on the face of it the gelding has shown little enough to get us interested today. Bobble Hat Bob sports first-time blinkers and represents the trainer-jockey combination of O'Neill and McCoy. It would not be hard to envisage a marked improvement in form as a result of the headgear and the return to this trip, so watch the market for clues. Alternator got up to win a seller at Leicester last time over a similar trip today's and acts with cut, though the handicapper only raised him 1lb for that, indicating that it wasn't the best of contests. This is tougher, and we'll take him on. BA Dreamflight's sole success came on the Polytrack at nearby Great Leighs, and he has shown little encouragement in three tries in novice company. Despite that, the handicapper has taken few chances in alloting him a mark of 102 for this handicap debut and he is hard to fancy as a result. A tough race to call can go to Over The Flow.
