Tara Royal looks the pick of Don McCain's two runners ahead of Alderley Rover following his win at Sedgefield lat month but he has a penalty to carry for that success and looks worth taking on with RACKHAM LEROUGE, who gets the vote over King Penda. The last mentioned looks the pick of the two runners in the race trained by Nicky Richards having shown promise in both starts in bumpers so far and he has to be respected on his hurdling debut. Stable companion Sundown Trail makes his racecourse debut and looks best watched with a bigger threat likely to come from Richard Lee's The Chazer, who won a bumper in Ireland prior to being well held on his British debut but he clearly has ability. Ian Williams has his string in good form so Accoprdingtoemandem has to be considered but it is hard to get away from Rackham Lerouge. The five-year-old showed a decent level of form in bumpers in France, winning three times, and made a pleasing debut for Nicky Henderson when finding just Rollwiththepunches too good in a novice hurdle at Huntingdon. A reproduction of that form may well suffice for the son of Fado.
