Verdict

PARTY IN THE PARK looks the form pick on paper and is taken to win at the expense of Blacktoft and Sun Catcher. The selection runs off the same mark as he did when winning at Leicester last time out. He was kept busy early on in the Flat season but since switching stables from the Hannon yard he has been well placed and if recapturing his best he could prove difficult to beat. Blacktoft drops in grade and has had excuses for a couple of below-par efforts recently. If he can reproduce the same level of form when he finished a close second to Previs at Sandown in the middle of July then he would have to be taken seriously. Coming from a yard that like a tilt in the ring he should also be monitored in the betting market. Sun Catcher is another that drops in grade for the first time. He manged to win a little handicap at Southwell back in May and is another to note in the market.
