LIGHTHEARTED is a speculative selection in a wide open fillies' handicap. Timeless Dream is not without claims at this level and is respected as a threat, while Sussex Dancer and One Cool Kitty are also worth noting in the betting market. One Cool Kitty, who won her maiden on soft ground at Redcar last September, is on a very fair and, as a likeable type on pedigree; she can be expected to pay her way again before too long. Sussex Dancer may have needed the run on her reappearance and can be forgiven for the way her effort petered out. Still, she will be hard to peg back if allowed an easy lead tonight, so is worth bearing in mind if the strong support arrives to back up her claims. Timeless Dream showed promise as a juvenile but failed to take advantage of a seemingly good opportunity when she was last seen out. However, it is feasible for her to have strengthened up since her last run and she may be a different proposition today. Nevertheless, Lighthearted, who has gone well here in the past, makes more appeal for the time being. Clive Cox's filly won a handicap at Lingfield in good style on her penultimate start and looked set to for a profitable campaign. Admittedly, it was disappointing that she failed to see out the trip in a stronger race at Goodwood 12 days ago. But that was a much stiffer assignment and, as Lighthearted is already proven on Kempton's much flatter surface, the switch back to the all-weather can help her shine in this lesser grade.
